This was Matt's first Fathers Day. It was a fun day...we had Matt's dad over and grilled out lunch. Very low key, which was nice.As I ponder Fathers Day, I think about what a lucky girl Marissa is to have a daddy like Matt. He'll be lots of fun, supportive but firm at the same time. She'll definitely learn a lot from him and I look forward to seeing their relationship blossom. I think she'll look up to him as much as I look up to my own father.
As I take this wonderful journey through parenthood, there's no one I'd rather have by my side. And I couldn't do it without him!
